What is... a mission trip?
a short-term mission can be described as when non-vocational missionary volunteers do specific tasks for predetermined, limited periods of time, usually in a cross-cultural setting, with definite spiritual objectives.
Works of short-term missions can include a plethora of ministries, being personal evangelism, preaching, women’s ministry, disaster relief, construction work, preaching, leadership training, seminar for a specific doctrinal/theological need, children’s ministry, music, teaching, health care, etc.
