As many of you know, faith, travel, and creating are all SUPER passions of mine. This spur-of-the-moment job opportunity helped me to combine all three!
– 4 days in Prague, sightseeing in a beautiful, old European city 🇨🇿
– making lots of new friends from all over the world (fourth passion: connections) 👥
– witnessing a ministerial conference where real conversations took place about giving people worldwide the freedom to believe without persecution from the government ✞
– photography and socials gig with a nonprofit (also combining a fifth passion of mine from playing in high school: soccer) ⚽️❤️
I had a great week in Prague with Football for Peace (FfP) being a part of their Content Team! There truly is movement happening within the realm of sports diplomacy. The FfP team held a panel at the 2023 Ministerial Conference on Freedom of Religion or Belief, bringing together diplomats and athletes for the purpose of promoting religious peace through football (hosted by NGO Committee on Freedom of Religion or Belief). Afterwards, there was a Peace Match with AC Sparta Praha fotbal, a.s. featuring a diverse set of athletes and guests.
